Responsibilities
Team Introduction: The TikTok User Growth Team taps into the product's growth potential and drives user growth through technology. We not only implement user growth methodologies in the product and continuously consolidate growth capabilities, but also explore TikTok's multi-modal product ecosystem to fuel the rapid growth of user scale. We work extremely closely with the business, collaborating with product and operation colleagues to explore user growth methodologies and continuously strengthen the business's growth capacity. Together, we conduct insightful analysis based on business data performance to identify business opportunities, analyze diverse business needs against different growth models, and deliver technical design and implementation accordingly. We also optimize and upgrade our architectures and systems from a technical perspective, conduct pure technical transformations, and leverage technology to drive business development and evolution. Key Responsibilities: - Be responsible for data analysis work related to TikTok's user growth business and provide insightful analytical capabilities for the business - Accurately and comprehensively understand the business, assist in setting business growth goals, decompose key achievement paths, and implement robust process monitoring and early warning measures - Dissect the driving factors of business growth, diagnose growth-related issues, investigate and attribute data anomalies, and build automated anomaly attribution tools - Conduct special analysis on critical issues, gain insights into the essence of problems, and propose data-driven optimization suggestions or solutions - Demonstrate excellent organizational and collaboration skills; partner with product R&D, data and algorithm teams to support strategy iteration through rigorous analysis, data mining, causal inference, A/B testing and other methods, drive the implementation of optimization plans, quantitatively evaluate strategy effectiveness, and boost key business metrics - In the course of supporting business development, think and summarize proactively, and precipitate growth analysis methodologies and data efficiency tools
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields, with 5+ years of work experience - Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as SQL, Python and R; mastery of analytical methods including regression, classification, clustering, machine learning, A/B testing and causal inference - Excellent communication and logical thinking skills, with structured thinking, acute data insight, rigorous attention to detail and a strong sense of curiosity - Strong organizational and collaboration capabilities, self-motivated work attitude and resilience Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in user product analysis or the data science field in internet companies - Industry experience related to user growth

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $201000 - $395280 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
