ResponsibilitiesThis position reports to the North American Public Safety Regional Development and Integration Team. This group develops, customizes, and implements software interfaces and integrations on a product and project basis. The position requires communicating with a project team, functional team, customers, service managers, project managers and third-party vendors.
- Participating in project requirement gathering sessions.
- Preparing and maintaining software design documentation.
- Developing product to customer requirements.
- Support testing with customers and third-party vendors.
- Providing second tier support for custom software deliverables.
- Performing project delivery tasks within stated budget and schedule.
- Staying abreast of Public Safety industry standards and specifications related to product development.

Education / Qualifications- A bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related field or commensurate, documented experience in a role with similar responsibilities
- 7+ years' experience in software development
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
- Experience in public safety workflows
- Experience in developing Public Safety applications is a plus.
- Working Knowledge of: C#, C++, XML/XSL, JSON, SQL, HTTP/REST, REACT, WCF, GIT, Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services is a plus
