Senior Power BI Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Power BI Architect. This is a hybrid role based in Spring, TX and will require 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

Summary:
The Senior Power BI Architect will serve as the subject-matter expert for enterprise-level Power BI architecture, governance, performance optimization, and secure data delivery. This role is responsible for defining and enforcing best practices, designing scalable analytics solutions, guiding development teams, and ensuring Power BI deployments follow robust security and compliance standards.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of experience with Power BI, including enterprise semantic model development
* Hands-on experience with Power BI Deployment Pipelines and Azure DevOps/Git integration
* Strong expertise in DAX, data modeling, and M/Power Query
* Deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and modern data architecture
* Knowledge of enterprise security policies, governance, and compliance frameworks
* Proven leadership in coaching, mentoring, and guiding BI teams
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
* Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equivalent
* Experience with Databricks, Lakehouse architectures, Delta tables
* Experience building or running a BI Center of Excellence
* Background in large-scale enterprise analytics environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
