Summary

Title: CWR Mailroom Clerk
Location: Chicopee, MA 01020
Job Duration: 6 - 12 months (Contract, possibilities of extension)

Job Description:

These workers will work on-site during newspaper production and will be responsible for manually inserting mailers into newspapers/magazines. The role requires standing for the entire shift and maintaining accuracy throughout the production process.

Day/ Shift options available:

(Option1 : Friday Only: Part Time 1 Fri evening/month - 6:30pm - 10:30pm)
(Option 2: Saturday Only Every Saturday - 7:00pm - 11:00pm)
(Option 3 : Option 1 and 2 combined ( One Friday/month and every Saturday))

Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, ensuring that all mail and packages are sorted and delivered accurately.
The ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Physical Stamina and Basic Technical Skills: Physical ability to lift and move packages of varying weights, along with basic computer skills for tracking and updating records.
Familiarity with mailroom equipment like postage meters or scanners is beneficial.
Ability to stand for long periods
Reliability and punctuality
Attention to detail and consistency.

Responsibilities:

Manually insert combos into pre-printed newspapers
Stand for 1 to 2 hours at a time (potentially longer, depending on run)
Handle materials carefully and accurately
Follow basic instructions and maintain steady pace

Schedule:

Friday Shift: Scheduled approximately once per month (based on production needs and calendar availability).
Saturday Shift: Scheduled weekly (once every week).

Other Information:

Work Location: 100% onsite in Chicopee, MA
Contract Duration: 6 12 months with potential extension
Friday Shift Schedule: Approximately once per month based on production needs
