Job Title: Material Handler 2

Location: San Diego, CA  

Client: American aerospace and defense company

Duration: 6 Month Contract

Pay Rate: $34/hr on w2

Job Summary:

Seeking a Material Handler 2 to support warehouse and material-handling operations, including shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, transporting, and organizing materials within a plant or work site.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Load, unload, move, stack, and organize materials manually or using material-handling equipment.

·       Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including opening containers, counting, weighing, and recording materials.

·       Transport materials using forklifts, hand trucks, electric dollies, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.

·       Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, conveyors, and machines.

·       Assist machine operators with heavy lifting using manual methods or power hoists.

Basic Qualifications:

·       Previous warehouse experience.

·       Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. without assistance.

·       Valid California driver's license and ability to operate a delivery vehicle.

·       Ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.

· 

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Experience with SAP/MRP systems.

·       Forklift operation experience.

·       Experience with shipping and packaging according to Military Specifications (Mil-Spec).

·       Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
