Role: QA Automation Engineer Location: Fort Washington, PA Duration: 6-month contract

POSITION SUMMARY
This is a terrific opportunity for a smart and collaborative test professional to join our Quality
Engineering team and lead one of our fast-paced projects. Responsible for creating FUNCTIONAL &
SMOKE test suite to meet the business objectives while working with other senior members of the team.
Acts as an automation SME with product teams to address systems, software integration issues.
Additionally, works cross team and come up with palpable automation test strategy. Responsible for
FUNCTIONAL & SMOKE, regression and integration test and work with product teams to execute robust
automated test plan. This role is a technologist first with passion for automation of testing and all
functions in the CICD pipeline.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
QE will be individual contributor to automation FUNCTIONAL & SMOKE test for mission critical
business applications with multiple interfaces. Individual will be leveraging a Test Center of Excellence
Work with Product teams to adapt in-sprint test automation and execute in all the phases of software
development life cycle
The development of accurate work estimates/forecasts/accounting of testing/validation activities.
Supports the team to ensure success, including removing roadblocks, helping the team in achieving in-
sprint automation
Interacts and develops relationships cross-functionally both internally within IT and externally with
business partners to provide solutions and process improvement.
Identify automation test design/strategies/scenarios/ to drive efficiencies for all aspects of testing.
Implement and Extend Test Automation Frameworks to advance the delivery of business
Assist other developers and automation engineers in maintaining the frameworks
Participate in all aspects of automation testing including establishing metrics, applying industry best
practices and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Develop testing scenarios/cases to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios,
regression testing, boundary/negative testing, usability.
Drive continuous integration and deployment strategies leveraging tools like Visual Studio with a
DevOps concept

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
Expert in Selenium Web Driver, Java, Test NG
Expert in Automation Framework (In-house Selenium-based, scriptless robotic automation)
Expert in Visual Studio Test Suite and Pipeline
Expert on Qualitia will be an advantage
Experience with Git / Repos management
API test automation using tools like Postman or Swagger

STANDARD DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop in-sprint Automated test in Qualitia
Update Smoke / Functional automated test suite based on functional changes by various sprint team
Develop & Reporting on test metrics.
Manage the defect logging/tracking/reporting process.
Manage the day-to-day work
Comfortable working in fast paced software deliverable in agile model

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s or master s degree in information technology, Computer Information Systems
8+ years of experience in software quality engineering & implementation of in-sprint automation
Mortgage Knowledge is preferred but not mandatory
