Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to support large-scale modernization initiatives involving the conversion of legacy applications into modern web-based solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and business users to analyze current systems, gather requirements, and drive successful project execution.

This role requires strong expertise in SDLC, business analysis, stakeholder management, legacy system modernization, and experience working with .NET and SQL-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing legacy applications, workflows, and databases to document current-state functionality.
• Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Translate legacy application behavior into modern web-based system requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis and identify modernization opportunities.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and database teams to support .NET and SQL-based solutions.
• Support project planning, milestone tracking, issue resolution, and risk management.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, walkthroughs, and requirement review sessions.
• Assist QA and development teams during implementation and testing phases.
• Maintain project documentation and communicate status updates to leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience in business analysis and legacy system modernization.
• Strong experience with SDLC and web-based application development.
• Expertise in requirements elicitation and documentation.
• Experience analyzing SQL-based systems and integrations.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience identifying compliance gaps and proposing effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• Experience converting legacy systems to web applications.
• Hands-on experience working with .NET development teams and SQL databases.
• Experience in government or regulated environments.
• PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or related certifications preferred.
