Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager in Baltimore, Maryland.

Work You'll Do
Manage information technology projects, including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of information technology project engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, information technology project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

50% Travel required nationally
Telecommuting permitted

Requirements
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.

Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
Utilizing Waterfall, Agile, or Kanban methodologies to lead information technology projects, including banking;
Participating in teams that participate in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design, scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, data modeling, testing, training, and defining support procedures utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO), Rally, Microsoft (MS) Project, Visio, and Visual Studio, Postman, Atlassian Jira, and Jenkins to implement Core Banking Applications;
Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedule and deliverables for clients using ADO and MS Project;
Defining performance measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on stakeholders' discussions, data, and trend analysis;
Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs;
Participating in business processes and driving customer requirements, scenario development, and technical implementation utilizing Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Jenkins, ADO, Jira, and Postman;
Leading development, testing and deployment, utilizing MS Visual Studio, Postman, GitHub, Micro Focus UFT One (Unified Functional Testing), Selenium, Cucumber, and HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM); and
Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and managing the scope using change management processes, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
