Summary
Location: Houston, TX (4 days hybrid onsite)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Junior Power BI Developer with basic knowledge of Power BI, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory (ADF). This role is ideal for someone starting their career in data and analytics, who is eager to learn and build reporting and data integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop basic Power BI dashboards and reports using standard data models and DAX
- Assist in building and maintaining ETL processes using SSIS
- Support data pipeline development and monitoring in Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Ensure data accuracy and assist in troubleshooting data-related issues
- Work with senior team members to understand business requirements and deliver reports
- Perform data validation and support report performance improvements
- Learn and follow best practices in data visualization and data management
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Power BI (DAX and data modeling)
- Understanding of SSIS or ETL concepts
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (ADF) is a plus
- Basic SQL knowledge and database concepts
- Willingness to learn and grow in data engineering and BI tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Azure tools (Data Lake, Synapse, etc.)
- Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts
- Good communication and teamwork skills
