As a Software Engineer based out of our New York City Headquarters, you will work with a team that is composed of highly skilled and supportive individuals, with each engineer contributing uniquely to serve our U.S.-based car dealers and manufacturers. The development team oversees and takes ownership of the entire software development life cycle.
A successful Software Engineer will: - Take ownership of assigned deliverables, both in terms of timeliness and software quality.
- Develop new software, and enhance existing software, to high standards. Adhere to best practices that enhance user experience, usability, scalability, performance and security.
- Learn about various components owned by the team and how these components fit within the overall platform.
- Effectively communicate with all stakeholders including regular progress and updates to your manager, peers and leads.
Who you are: - 2+ years of software engineering experience
- Working knowledge of modern object-oriented languages
- Working knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and component-based UI libraries
- Working knowledge of object-oriented design techniques and RESTful API implementations
- Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile
- Good experience with developing solutions involving SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Knowledge of modern relational databases and Google Big Query is a plus.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):- S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $69,661 to $122,231. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
