Summary

  • The Client is seeking an experienced QA Test Lead with strong domain expertise in Life & Disability Insurance and hands-on experience in end-to-end implementation of Benefit Administration modules. 
  • The ideal candidate will lead QA efforts, manage test strategy, and ensure high-quality delivery across system implementations, enhancements, and data/system conversions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage QA activities across the full project lifecycle.
  • Define and implement comprehensive test strategy, test plans, and test cases.
  • Drive end-to-end testing for Benefit Administration module implementations.
  • Plan and execute testing for data/system conversion activities, including validation of migrated data and reconciliation across legacy and target systems.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to validate requirements.
  • Perform Functional, System, Integration, Regression, and UAT support testing.
  • Ensure validation of eligibility, enrollment, billing, claims, and policy administration workflows.
  • Review requirements and identify gaps, ambiguities, and risk areas.
  • Track defects, manage defect triage meetings, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Mentor and guide QA team members.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and documentation standards.
  • Support automation initiatives where applicable.
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of QA experience with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead role.
  • Strong domain experience in Life & Disability Insurance.
  • Hands-on experience in Benefit Administration module end-to-end implementation.
  • Experience in test planning and execution for system/data conversion projects.
  • Experience validating:
  1. Eligibility & Enrollment
  2. Premium calculation
  3. Billing & Payment processing
  4. Claims integration
  5. Policy lifecycle management
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries for backend validation.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Life & Disability platforms such as Majesco, FINEOS, or similar systems.
  • Automation testing experience (Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience in data migration and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of API testing (Postman/Swagger).
