Remote Senior Informatica IDMC Data Engineer

Job Type: W2

Position Overview: We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Informatica IDMC (CDI) and advanced SQL skills to support enterprise data warehouse and ETL modernization initiatives. This role requires a hands-on engineer who can work independently, debug complex data pipelines, and operate effectively in environments with evolving business rules and limited documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Informatica IDMC (CDI).
Debug and analyze complex datasets using advanced SQL.
Support data warehouse development and raw data layer creation.
Identify data issues, inconsistencies, and rule gaps.
Collaborate with stakeholders to extract and define business rules.
Work independently to gather requirements and drive deliverables.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Informatica IDMC (CDI is mandatory).
Advanced SQL (debugging, performance tuning, data validation).
Solid experience in ETL pipeline development in enterprise environments.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Experience working with unclear or evolving requirements.

Nice to Have

IDMC CAI (API/JSON integrations).
Python (basic understanding or ability to read code).
Experience with APIs, JSON, or data integration frameworks.
Exposure to orchestration tools (e.g., JAMS).
Familiarity with AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude).
.NET / C# exposure.
