Job Description:

The ADMS Program Manager leads the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) programs that support grid modernization initiatives. This role oversees cross-functional teams across Operations, Engineering, IT, and vendor organizations to implement and optimize ADMS solutions including DMS, OMS, SCADA, and DERMS capabilities. Relevant ADMS implementation activities identified in internal utility materials include network modeling, SCADA configuration, DMS/OMS/DERMS integration, testing, software configuration management, training, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end ADMS program delivery including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and governance.
  • Manage vendors, system integrators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee implementation of DMS, OMS, SCADA, DERMS, and supporting integrations.
  • Direct testing activities including FAT, SAT, UAT, cutover, and stabilization.
  • Drive risk management, issue resolution, and executive-level reporting.
  • Lead organizational change management, training, and operational readiness efforts.
  • Ensure alignment with utility business objectives, regulatory requirements, and reliability goals.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 5+ years supporting utility technology, grid modernization, or ADMS initiatives.
  • Experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder technology programs.
  • Strong understanding of electric utility operations and distribution systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with OSI Monarch, GE PowerOn/GridOS, Siemens Spectrum Power, or Schneider Electric ADMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of SCADA, OMS, DMS, DERMS, GIS, and EMS systems.
  • PMP, SAFe, or Agile certification preferred.
