Title: ADMS Application Support

Location: Detroit, MI 3 days in office
Duration: 12 months then eligible for Contract renewal

Role Type: W2 contract engagement

Job Description

Advanced Distribution Management System a software platform used by electric utilities to monitor, control, and optimize the electric grid. It integrates things like outage management, SCADA, and distribution management into one system.

Application Data Management System software for managing and governing enterprise application data.
Automated Document Management System for storing, organizing, and retrieving documents.
Advanced Database Management System a general term for enhanced database solutions.

Technical skills and exposure within the role:

Linux
Server-level application experience/knowledge.
Coding (python, shell script, etc.)
Application-level knowledge
Database (Mongo, SQL)

Other skills and requirements:

Analytical Thinking: Ability to evaluate all relevant data and facts before taking an action. Self-driven. Ability to work autonomously and think through/investigate issues.

Curiosity: Proactively seeks understanding and knowledge by asking questions.

Problem Solving Oriented: Can identify and address root causes based on the symptoms, with a solution-oriented mindset.

Communication: Communicates clearly and respectfully with the team and business partners. Able to discuss both technical and non-technical related issues.
