Location: Atlanta, GA - Onsite

Azure Cloud Architect

Experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Terraform, DevOps practices, .NET, and Python, along with deep knowledge of Azure networking, security, and monitoring services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect end-to-end Azure cloud solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient
  • Lead infrastructure automation using Terraform and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools and practices
  • Develop and support cloud-native applications using .NET and Python
  • Implement and manage Azure networking components including Virtual Networks, Web App, Function App, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers
  • Configure and manage Azure Front Door and Web Application Firewall (WAF) for secure external access
  • Ensure cloud security best practices using Azure AD, RBAC, encryption, and threat protection services
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and operations
  • Provide guidance on data governance, compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficient

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Azure architecture and services
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
  • Expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
  • Proficiency in .NET (C#) and Python development
  • Experience with:
    • Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Functions
    • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
    • Azure Storage solutions (Blob, File, Queue, Table)
  • Strong knowledge of Azure networking:
    • Virtual Networks (VNet), Subnets
    • Load Balancers, Application Gateway
    • ExpressRoute / VPN Gateway
  • Experience with Azure Front Door and WAF for secure application delivery
  • Solid understanding of Azure security services:
    • Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
    • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
    • Encryption (at-rest and in-transit)
    • Azure Security Center / Defender for Cloud
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools:
    • Azure Monitor
    • Application Insights
    • Log Analytics
