Technical Delivery Manager Time & Attendance & Payroll Systems

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Technical Delivery Manager to lead the technical execution of our new Time & Attendance (T&A) and Payroll system deployment. This role partners closely with the PMO, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of integrations, configurations, data flows, testing, and system readiness across a complex HR/payroll ecosystem that includes SAP, SuccessFactors, WorkForce Software (WFS), ATOSS, and other enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate brings strong techno-functional expertise combined with hands-on experience delivering mid-to-large scale T&A and payroll transformations.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery Leadership
- Act as the technical owner for the Time & Attendance + Payroll program, partnering with the PMO for timeline, governance, and cross-team coordination.
- Lead the technical architecture and solution design across SAP/SuccessFactors, WFS, ATOSS, payroll systems, and integrations.
- Ensure alignment between HR, IT, Payroll, Operations, and vendors on all technical decisions and dependencies.
- Oversee technical deliverables including integrations, configurations, security, data mapping, and environment readiness.
Techno-Functional Expertise
- Translate business requirements into technical and functional specifications for SAP/SuccessFactors, WFS, ATOSS, and Payroll systems.
- Guide configuration and functional design for:
- SAP HCM Time and SAP Payroll
- SuccessFactors Employee Central & Employee Central Time
- WorkForce Software (WFS) time rules, schedules, pay rules, accruals
- ATOSS workforce planning, scheduling, and time management functions
- Own technical delivery of integrations across the project including:
- SAP and SuccessFactors
- WFS and ATOSS
- Payroll engines (SAP, ADP, Ceridian, etc.)
- HR Master Data systems
- Scheduling and workforce optimization tools
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop APIs, IDocs, middleware integrations, and automated data flows.
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Lead SIT, E2E testing, and payroll parallel testing PASS from the technical perspective.
- Build SIT detailed test scripts, data sets, and acceptance criteria for SAP, SuccessFactors, WFS, ATOSS, and payroll interfaces.
- Own defect resolution, retesting, and validation cycles.
- Ensure accuracy of time/pay rules, schedules, holidays, calculations, and compliance logic across all systems.
Environment & Data Management
- Manage environment readiness across DEV/QA/UAT/PROD for SAP, SuccessFactors, WFS, ATOSS, and downstream systems.
- Oversee data migration planning, cleansing, and validation activities.
- Ensure proper role-based access, security controls, and audit compliance.
Go-Live Readiness & Hypercare
- Lead all technical cutover activities including jobs, integrations, data loads, and environment transitions.
- Validate readiness of WFS, ATOSS, SAP, SuccessFactors, payroll engines, and all connected systems at go-live.
- Troubleshoot post-go-live issues and drive stabilization and optimization during hypercare.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years delivering technical HR, Time, and Payroll solutions (SAP, SuccessFactors, WFS, ATOSS, or equivalent T&A platforms).
- Strong experience managing technical integrations between HR, T&A, and payroll systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- Time evaluation rules
- Pay rules and wage type processing
- Shift patterns, accrual engines, scheduling
- Payroll schemas and tax calculations
- Familiarity with middleware/API technologies (SAP CPI, Boomi, SFTP, IDocs, REST/SOAP APIs).
- Experience working with multiple vendors and global stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing WFS or ATOSS in multi-country, multi-shift environments.
- Deep functional understanding of Employee Central Time and SAP Time Evaluation.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements (FLSA, scheduling laws, overtime rules).
- PMO collaboration experience in a structured governance environment.
