IT Operations Support Analyst – Manufacturing Systems

We are seeking an IT Operations Support Analyst to support IT infrastructure, applications, and operational technology systems within a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with plant operations and global support teams to provide technical troubleshooting, incident resolution, system maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will support manufacturing applications, infrastructure, and end-user technologies while helping ensure system reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for IT applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity tools within a manufacturing environment.
  • Support manufacturing systems and applications through troubleshooting, incident management, and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to prioritize improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in incident triage, business continuity execution, escalation support, and coordination with infrastructure and application support teams.
  • Support the integration, deployment, and long-term maintenance of applications and hardware.
  • Assist IT leadership with assignment coordination and workload management.
  • Develop, maintain, and share accurate technical documentation.
  • Support network equipment within a Cisco-based environment.
  • Support local servers across physical and virtual environments running Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Support deployment and expansion of connected manufacturing technologies, mobile devices, and network-enabled equipment.
  • Provide support for a multi-shift manufacturing operation, including occasional weekend coverage as needed.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives supporting flexible and lean manufacturing operations.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting, data analysis, and problem resolution for plant-floor applications and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration (2016+) and/or Linux administration.
  • Familiarity with Cisco routers and switches, including staging, troubleshooting, and cable installation.
  • Willingness to learn software-defined networking architecture troubleshooting and implementation.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory/ADFS.
  • Experience supporting virtual server environments (vSphere).
  • Experience supporting Android and iOS devices, including smartphones and tablets.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Experience supporting Windows PCs, printers, and office automation technologies.
  • Experience working with handheld scanners and imaging devices.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and IT support skills.
