Job Description:Develop, test, and troubleshoot software for embedded systems, manage software documentation, and support hardware-in-the-loop testing environments at Picatinny, New Jersey. Provide support that focuses on the software and firmware development for advanced munition and weapon systems.
- Designing, developing, testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting software for embedded systems like microcontrollers and FPGAs.
- Coordinating the fabrication and packaging of Application - Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC)s and Separation of Concerns (SOC)s stems.
- Designing signal processing circuits, firmware, and software for data processing in sensors, fuzes, and control systems.
- Designing and implementing systems utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) tools.
Education: Master's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Compensation & Benefits- Pay: $175 - $210k
- Schedule: M-F, 8-hrs/days
Job Requirements
- 10+ years' experience and knowledge supporting RDT&E projects.
- Developing, maintaining, and automating hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and software-in-the-loop (SWIL) testing environments.
- Evaluating and integrating Open-Source applications and drivers.
- Contributes to product improvement, scale-up initiatives, and prototype demonstrations and modeling services.
- Generating, reviewing, editing, and publishing engineering technical reports, as well as compiling information and preparing/delivering briefings as needed.
Bonus points if you have:- Program Management Certification.
- Experience in providing support to DEVCOM AC Headquarters and its subordinate elements.
