Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer who will be responsible for the stability, performance, and security of enterprise and data center network infrastructure. This role supports Cisco-based networking environments and ensures high availability, secure operations, and scalable network design across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

We need someone with proven, hands-on experience in complex routing environments (design, deployment, and troubleshooting), rather than theoretical or limited exposure.

Position Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise and data center network infrastructure supporting mission-critical applications.
• Provide day-to-day operational support, including routing, switching, troubleshooting, maintenance, and incident resolution.
• Develop and execute network enhancements and redesigns to improve performance, resiliency, and scalability.
• Plan and implement network upgrades and migrations in collaboration with internal technology teams.
• Monitor and analyze network health using enterprise monitoring and management tools.
• Support cloud and hybrid networking initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with on-prem infrastructure.
• Ensure network availability, security, and compliance with enterprise standards and best practices.

Position Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise-grade routers and switches in large data center environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of BGP and OSPF, including traffic engineering, route optimization, and failover design.
• Strong expertise in TCP/IP troubleshooting and packet analysis.
• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Cisco Nexus (9K/7K) and Catalyst platforms using NX-OS and IOS-XE, including BGP, OSPF, and STP.
• Proven experience designing, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting large-scale data center networks.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds and Cisco Catalyst Center.
• Experience supporting cloud networking and hybrid architectures.
