Location: San Antonio, Texas (Onsite)
Role Overview
This position requires a ServiceNow Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business stakeholders, architecture teams, and developers. The role is centered on translating business needs into technical requirements for ServiceNow, with a specific focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes. The analyst will support the creation and enhancement of ServiceNow forms and workflows in a complex, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for ServiceNow form creation and workflow design.
- Serve as a primary bridge between business users, cybersecurity architects, and ServiceNow development teams.
- Support the design and enhancement of numerous provisioning and access-related forms within ServiceNow.
- Ensure new forms and workflows align with established governance rules and IAM architecture.
- Advise business stakeholders on the capabilities and limitations of the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with technical teams to identify and implement automation opportunities within ServiceNow workflows.
- Facilitate communication to convert business needs into architectural designs and then into development tasks.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of Business Analyst experience with a focus on IAM and/or ServiceNow. Candidates must have hands-on experience supporting ServiceNow form creation, workflow design, and working in complex, regulated environments. This is not an entry-level role and requires the ability to manage detailed work.
Technical Skills: A strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts, including provisioning, RBAC, and governance is required. Proficiency with ServiceNow catalog forms, workflows, and automation capabilities is necessary. Familiarity with Privileged Access Management (PAM) and directory services infrastructure is expected. Proficiency with Visio is required.
Functional Skills: The role demands a highly collaborative individual capable of working across multiple technical and business teams. Strong communication skills are needed to bridge discussions between business and technical stakeholders. The candidate should be solution-oriented and able to challenge unclear or inefficient processes.

- Experience supporting IAM governance at scale.
- Background working with cybersecurity or enterprise architecture teams.
- Experience driving workflow automation initiatives within ServiceNow.
