Detailed Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Project Manager.

Job Responsibilities:       

·         Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery through effective prioritization, resource and capacity planning, budget oversight, and proactive risk and issue mitigation.

·         Define, develop, and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and success metrics aligned with business objectives.

·         Lead end-to-end delivery of data and technology initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams across data engineering, analytics, architecture, and business units.

·         Drive strong stakeholder engagement through clear communication, periodic status reporting, and executive-level presentations.

·         Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies with hands-on experience in sprint planning, backlog grooming, release planning, and delivery governance.

·         Demonstrate strong expertise in data platforms, including ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, data lakes, and modern analytics ecosystems.

·         Ensure adherence to data governance, data quality, security, and compliance standards across all projects.

·         Collaborate with data architects and engineers on data modeling, pipeline design, and scalable data solutions.

·         Utilize project management and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms for tracking and documentation.

·         Leverage strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to address complex technical and business challenges and drive continuous improvement.

·         Possess working knowledge of SQL and data querying concepts to effectively engage with technical teams and validate deliverables.

·         Bring strong domain expertise in BFSI, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and ensure value realization

·         Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
