Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Designing, implementing, and supporting cloud network architectures across AWS, Azure, or other public cloud platforms
  • Engineering hybrid connectivity solutions including VPN, Direct Connect / ExpressRoute, and cloud-native routing
  • Developing and maintaining network automation using Infrastructure as Code and scripting frameworks
  • Standardizing network services, templates, and patterns to improve consistency and repeatability
  • Troubleshooting complex network issues across cloud and on-prem environments and performing root cause analysis
  • Partnering with Security teams to ensure network designs meet security and compliance requirements
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
  • Evaluating new cloud networking technologies and making recommendations to improve the platform

Requirements of the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in network engineering with strong exposure to cloud and hybrid environments
  • Hands-on experience with cloud networking services (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure VNet, routing, security groups, NACLs)
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, BGP, routing, and firewalling
  • Experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python)
  • Experience collaborating with application, cloud, and security teams on shared initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on moderately complex assignments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
