Description
Serve as the ServiceNow / Azure Solutions Architect SME guiding mission-critical government programs. You'll design, implement, and govern ServiceNow architecture (aligned to ITIL/CSDM), ensure environment consistency and platform performance, and act as the SME/technical owner for Azure-building robust, scalable, secure cloud solutions with HA/multi-region designs and modern DevSecOps tooling (GitLab, Terraform, Ansible). Responsibilities include estimating and planning, leading integrations, testing oversight, risk mitigation, RCA/incident response, and producing architecture artifacts. You'll be the primary technical face to customers, aligning engineering delivery to mission objectives, while mentoring architects/engineers and maintaining/expanding industry certifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years (leadership roles) required; 12+ preferred.
Education: Technical training/certs/degree required; Bachelor's preferred (Assoc.+2 yrs in lieu); advanced degrees reduce years required.
Certifications:
Required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Preferred: AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400, ServiceNow CAD, ServiceNow CIS, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, Red Hat Ansible Specialist
Clearance & Work Auth: Active Secret or ability to obtain; U.S. Citizenship required.
Core tools/methods: Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, UML/SysML, Agile/DevSecOps, ITIL/CSDM.
Soft skills: Executive presence, customer briefings, conflict resolution, mentorship, multi-team delivery coordination.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $90.00/hr.
