Java Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Application Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java-based technologies, relational databases, application integration, and software development best practices. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, supporting production deployments, participating in modernization initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The successful candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and providing occasional after-hours support for application deployments and production issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with:
  • Core Java
  • Spring Framework / Spring Boot
  • REST APIs
  • Java EE technologies
  • EJB
  • Struts
  • PrimeFaces
  • Enterprise design patterns
• Experience with relational databases such as:
  • Oracle
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Similar enterprise database platforms
• Experience using version control tools such as Bitbucket.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to support production deployments outside normal business hours when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience writing Bash or Korn shell scripts.
