Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Domain Architect to lead the architecture and transformation of enterprise Sales and Marketing platforms within the Telecommunications/MSO domain. This role is responsible for defining and evolving end-to-end domain architecture, driving technology strategy, and delivering scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in enterprise BSS systems, cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and modern integration patterns, along with a strong blend of functional and technical skills in Sales and Marketing technology ecosystems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 12+ years of overall IT experience covering at least three of the following areas:
    • Solution Architecture
    • Requirements Analysis & Design
    • Application Development
    • Testing
    • Application Support
  • 4+ years of experience in the MSO/Telecommunications industry.
  • Strong blend of functional and technical expertise in Enterprise BSS systems and Solution Architecture.
  • Proven experience designing and evolving large-scale distributed systems in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Own and Evolve Domain Architecture

  • Define and continuously evolve end-to-end architecture for Sales and Marketing platforms, including applications, services, integrations, and supporting platforms.
  • Establish architectural principles, standards, and reference patterns that enable consistent and high-quality system design across teams.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise and Solution Architects to align domain architecture with broader organizational technology strategies.
  • Drive architectural governance and ensure adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.

Apply Deep Functional & System Understanding

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Sales and Marketing business capabilities, workflows, processes, and technology ecosystems.
  • Leverage functional and technical expertise to identify scalable solution designs that satisfy business requirements while minimizing unnecessary customization and technical complexity.
  • Guide teams on when to extend existing capabilities versus introducing new services or platforms.
  • Promote reuse and standardization across systems and services.

Design for Scale, Reliability & Security

  • Partner with engineering teams to design cloud-native, distributed systems supporting high-volume and business-critical workflows.
  • Promote API-first and event-driven architectures that enable scalability, loose coupling, and faster delivery cycles.
  • Ensure solutions are designed with resiliency, performance, security, observability, and operational excellence in mind.
  • Establish architectural patterns that support long-term maintainability and business growth.

Technical Strategy & Roadmapping

  • Translate business and product strategies into cohesive architectural direction and technology roadmaps.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and platforms through proof-of-concept initiatives and design exploration activities.
  • Make pragmatic technology recommendations aligned with business value, cost optimization, and long-term sustainability.
  • Balance innovation with simplicity, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Influence, Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, and Business Stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with peer architects to drive well-reasoned architectural decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams and solution stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
