Senior Architect – Adobe Edge Delivery Services

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Architect with deep expertise in Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) to design, implement, and optimize high-performance content delivery and edge architectures. The candidate will work closely with enterprise teams to lead end-to-end delivery, ensure scalability, and provide thought leadership for digital experience platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in web performance optimization, CDN architecture, cloud delivery, and edge computing, with hands-on knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture and design for Adobe Edge Delivery Services solutions, including CDN, caching strategies, and edge rules.

• Define and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure delivery solutions for web, mobile, and video content.

• Collaborate with digital, IT, and DevOps teams to integrate EDS with Adobe Experience Cloud and other enterprise systems.

• Provide thought leadership in edge computing, web performance, and content delivery architecture.

• Analyze existing delivery infrastructure, identify gaps, and recommend optimizations for latency, caching, and traffic routing.

• Develop technical roadmaps, standards, and best practices for edge services and CDN implementations.

• Mentor technical teams, perform architecture reviews, and guide implementation to meet business and technical goals.

• Collaborate on incident resolution and operational support, ensuring SLAs and SLOs are maintained.

• Stay up-to-date with Adobe EDS product updates, cloud delivery technologies, and edge computing trends.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, digital experience, or content delivery.

• Strong expertise in Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Experience Cloud.

• Deep understanding of CDN architecture, caching strategies, edge rules, and web performance optimization.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and edge delivery integration.

• Strong knowledge of HTTP, SSL/TLS, load balancing, routing, and web security.

• Experience in monitoring, observability, and performance analytics for delivery networks.

• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, automation, and CI/CD in content delivery environments.

• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and architectural decision-making skills.

• Proven experience mentoring teams and guiding enterprise-level architecture decisions.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to multi-CDN strategies and edge computing best practices.

• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, JSON, and web application architecture.

• Experience with AIOps or performance monitoring tools for web content delivery.

• Understanding of digital experience personalization, analytics, and AB testing at the edge.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Relevant certifications (Adobe, cloud, or architecture) are a plus.
