Job Description:

We are seeking a Director of Industry Analytics to lead industry performance analysis, market forecasting, competitive intelligence, and syndicated data strategy. This role will serve as the organization’s expert on industry trends, consumer behavior, category performance, and growth opportunities while leading a team of analysts and partnering with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop industry forecasts, market projections, and competitive performance insights
• Lead analytics initiatives across brand, channel, product, customer, and category performance
• Deliver executive-level recommendations to support pricing, distribution, marketing, and growth strategies
• Manage relationships with syndicated data providers (Circana/IRI, retailer loyalty data, etc.)
• Lead contract negotiations, vendor management, and budget oversight for analytics platforms
• Build and mentor a team of Industry and Quantitative Analysts
• Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and strategic business recommendations
• Present insights and business cases to executive leadership

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years of experience applying quantitative analytics to solve business problems
• Experience translating complex data into actionable business recommendations
• Strong executive presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, Excel, Access, or similar platforms
• Experience with syndicated market data, forecasting, competitive analysis, and consumer insights
