- Data Discovery, Availability & Gap Analysis
- Demonstrated ability to discover and assess structured, semi-structured and file-based data across enterprise systems; create inventories, source assessments and gap matrices; and determine whether metric inputs are available, derivable or missing based on grain, coverage, history, quality, lineage and access.
- SQL, BigQuery & Python
- Strong SQL for profiling, complex joins, window functions, aggregation and reconciliation; working knowledge of BigQuery metadata, tables, views, partitioning, clustering and cost-aware analysis; and practical Python skills for profiling, file inspection, comparison, validation and repeatable analytics.
- Metrics, Modeling & Traceability
- Ability to decompose KPIs and financial metrics into source fields, grain, business rules, dimensions, filters, period logic, numerator and denominator; understand facts, dimensions, keys, hierarchies and snapshots; and document source-to-metric lineage, transformations and validation criteria.
- Source Systems & Data Formats
- Experience analyzing Jira, Rally, GitHub, Clarity, Remedy or comparable platforms and working with databases, structured tables, APIs, Avro and delimited flat files, including schema interpretation, source ownership and cross-system reconciliation.
- Data Quality, Documentation & Delivery
- Experience defining completeness, validity, uniqueness, consistency, timeliness and referential-integrity checks and producing data dictionaries, mappings, profiling reports, gap logs, UAT evidence, Confluence documentation and daily or weekly status reports.
