Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Change & Release Management Process

Consultant with expertise in ITSM and DevOps-driven change and release

processes. The role involves defining, optimizing, and implementing end-to-end

change and release frameworks, aligned with ITIL best practices and modern

DevOps methodologies, for both software and non-software releases leveraging

platforms such as ServiceNow.

 

Key Responsibilities

 Define and implement end-to-end Change and Release Management

processes aligned with ITIL and enterprise governance standards for software

(DevOps) and non-software releases

 Design and optimize DevOps-integrated Change and Release processes

using ServiceNow DCV/DPR (CI/CD pipeline integrations, automated

approvals, deployment tracking)

 Assess current ITSM Change Management processes and identify gaps, risks,

and automation opportunities

 Establish standard, normal, and emergency change frameworks, including

risk-based approvals and governance controls

 Integrate Release Management with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Azure

DevOps) for seamless deployment orchestration

 Define process for automated release validation and rollback strategies

 Align Change & Release processes with CMDB for impact analysis and

dependency tracking

 Define KPIs and dashboards for change success rate, deployment frequency,

failure rate, and MTTR

 Ensure compliance with audit, risk, and regulatory requirements

 Work with stakeholders across development, operations, and business teams

to streamline and standardize the process definition

 

Required Skills & Experience

 8+ years of experience in ITSM, with strong focus on Change and Release

Management

 Deep understanding of ITIL Change and Release processes

 Understanding of ServiceNow ITSM and DevOps Change and Release

management

 Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Argo CD, etc.)

 Experience in automating change workflows and approvals within

ServiceNow

 Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills

 

Preferred Skills

 Experience with ServiceNow DevOps, Change and Release Management

modules

 Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Argo CD, etc.)

 Experience in financial services or regulated industries
