Job Title: Software Architect SA3/ REMOTE
Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the Sonatype Products Platform, providing best practices and guidance aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and microservices architecture using AWS services.
• Coordinate and integrate infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform.
• Establish and define DevSecOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines for building and deploying applications and infrastructure.
• Support high availability configurations, backup strategies, and systems monitoring to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Evaluate operational requirements, support design reviews, and provide technical briefings on system compatibility and security.
• Develop enterprise systems architecture strategies supporting organizational goals and standards.
• Configure and automate Linux systems'' management and deployment tasks.
• Utilize AWS infrastructure to set up and manage Sonatype products, ensuring optimal performance.

• 5+ years’ experience designing and maintaining automation for configuration management, application deployment, and infrastructure orchestration using tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform.
• Hands-on experience configuring Sonatype products within AWS infrastructure.
• 9+ years of experience in application design, development, and data modeling.
• Extensive knowledge of data warehousing, distributed processing, and software integration techniques.
• Strong coding experience (Java, C++, C#, PowerBuilder, etc.) with at least 9 years.
• Proficiency in SQL and database stored procedures for 9+ years.
• Experience with web protocols, web server technologies, SOAP, REST, and microservices for 9+ years.
• 7+ years in network, development, and database architecture, including developing enterprise architectures and utilizing iterative system development methodologies.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools, experience with CI/CD tools, and agile methodologies.
• Leadership experience as a technical leader for 5+ years in software engineering or related fields.
