Job Title: AWS Cloud / DevOps Engineer 
Job Summary 
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud / DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and system reliability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in AWS environments, infrastructure as code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring, along with a passion for optimizing and automating operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support AWS cloud environments, including provisioning, operations, and maintenance.

• Design and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure.

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and notification systems using tools like CloudWatch and Dynatrace.

• Work with development teams to deploy and maintain applications in AWS environments.

• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using IaC tools such as CDK or Terraform.

• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Azure Pipelines.

• Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies across multi-AZ environments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and network-related issues.

• Maintain and optimize Linux-based systems and environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability.

Technical Knowledge and Skills 
Required Experience

• 6+ years of overall IT experience

• 4+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud management experience

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer and/or Solutions Architect certification

Core Technical Skills

• Strong experience with AWS provisioning, operations, and environment management

• Experience with AWS services including Kafka, ECS, and EKS

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CDK or Terraform

• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Dynatrace

• Strong knowledge of Linux systems and administration

• Experience with automation and configuration tools such as Ansible

• Proficiency in Python scripting

DevOps & Tools

• Experience with source code repositories: Azure DevOps Server, Git, GitLab, SVN

• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure Pipelines

• Knowledge of software configuration management (SCM)

Networking & Systems

• Strong understanding of networking concepts including load balancing and firewalls

• Knowledge of protocols: HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP

• Understanding of OSI Model, subnetting, and routing

• Experience managing web applications in highly available environments

Additional Technical Skills

• Familiarity with Java and .NET application deployment

• Experience with application security tools (Coverity, Tenable, BlackDuck)   plus

• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL

• Experience with SSL certificate installation and troubleshooting

• Understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, IP routing, SSH/SFTP/SCP, DNS, FTP, SMTP

• Database management experience: MS SQL Server, Oracle
