Job Title: SAP EWM Architect/ Supply Chain Transformation Leader
Location: Remote with travel (US + global)
About the Role
Client is embarking on a large‑scale, multi‑year SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Transformation covering global manufacturing plants, distribution centers, transportation networks, planning systems, and regulated quality processes. We are seeking a high‑impact SAP Supply Chain Transformation Leader to guide the design, governance, deployment, and stabilization of our global SAP EWM/TM and integrated supply chain landscape.
This is a program‑critical leadership role — equal to or above the workstream leadership currently driving SAP execution. The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise, enterprise transformation experience, and the ability to partner directly with senior business and IT executives.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Program Leadership
· Provide senior leadership across a multi‑year SAP S/4HANA program involving EWM, TM, MM/IM, PP/PP‑DS, SD/OTC, and GTS.
· Own end‑to‑end supply chain design, template development, and deployment strategy across global sites.
· Govern program execution, including scope, risks, dependencies, testing quality, cutover readiness, and hypercare stabilization.
· Serve as the primary advisor to executive sponsors on supply chain design, digital strategy, and organizational impact.
Supply Chain Process Design & Integration
· Lead global process harmonization across warehousing, transportation, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and order fulfillment.
· Architect EWM/TM processes for inbound, outbound, production supply, cross‑docking, replenishment, automation/MFS, yard/dock, freight planning, freight settlement, and ASR (Advanced Shipping & Receiving).
· Ensure seamless integration across SAP modules (EWM–TM–MM–SD–PP–GTS) and external partners (3PLs, carriers, MES, automation vendors).
· Drive data and master data strategy including material, batch, BP, logistics structures, and classification.
Operational & Site Leadership
· Partner with plant managers, warehouse leadership, quality, transportation, and compliance teams to ensure design reflects real‑world execution.
· Lead site readiness, operational validation, mock cycles, data validation, and regression/UAT governance.
· Oversee organizational change readiness, including training, SOP development, role mapping, and business adoption.
Regulatory & Quality Alignment
· Ensure SAP processes meet Client regulatory standards including GxP, FDA, ISO, audit, traceability, and serialization.
· Integrate cold‑chain, FEFO/expiry, batch management, quality hold/release, and ATTP processes into warehouse and transportation flows.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
· Manage system integrators, offshore teams, and consulting vendors; ensure accountability for deliverables and quality.
· Facilitate executive‑level communication, steering committees, and cross‑functional governance forums.
· Navigate complex business landscapes, resolve conflicts, and build alignment among global process owners.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Leadership & Program Execution
· 15+ years of SAP Supply Chain experience with at least 8–10 years in senior leadership roles.
· Prior experience leading large SAP transformations (EWM/TM/S/4HANA) in global, multi‑plant environments.
