Job Description

You will be the Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager - Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) Inc 2. Our team drives the design, release, and production of critical missile subsystems - from Control Actuation to Sensor Assemblies - using Digital Product Lifecycle Management (dPLM) to deliver fabrication and procurement packages for Increment 2 development.

What You Will Be Doing
As the E&T Manager you will lead a multi disciplinary engineering group, provide technical oversight for hardware configuration drawings, Bill of Materials, and engineering release (ER) packages, and act as the technical conscience for the PrSM program. You'll mentor staff, manage risk, collaborate with supply chain partners, and support the Chief Engineer in meeting schedule, budget, and performance goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

Direct technical development of CAD models, tolerance analyses, and dPLM drawing releases for all PrSM subsystems (CAS, Guidance Set, GPS/Proximity/IR antennas, RF/IR sensors).
Generate and approve Bill of Materials, solid model files, and engineering release documentation for fabrication and procurement.
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and career development for a diverse engineering team.
Coordinate with Production Planning, Operations, Quality, and Global Supply Chain to resolve design issues and ensure manufacturability.
Lead risk and opportunity management activities, evaluate supplier proposals, and drive affordability decisions.
Communicate status, issues, and mitigation plans to program leadership, customers, and external partners.
Support the PrSM Inc 2 Chief Engineer and Deputy Chief Engineer with program wide technical duties.
Oversee recruitment, performance assessments, salary planning, and engineering competency development for the team.
Travel to supplier or MFC facilities as needed to validate designs and support production.
