Roles & Responsibilities
·       Review Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and Technical Specification Documents (TSDs) to build and maintain test plans and coverage matrices
·       Author, organise, and execute test cases across 90+ test scenarios spanning all core system functions and Release 1 / Release 2 programs
·       Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) for all integration touchpoints: SAP CIS, SAP FI/AP, Documentum, SailPoint
·       Facilitate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with client program staff; translate business scenarios into executable scripts
·       Log, triage, and track defects in Jira; coordinate with developers on fix verification and regression scope
·       Validate test data using SQL against SAP staging tables or database extracts to confirm expected outcomes
·       Participate in daily defect triage calls and weekly test status reporting to the Test Lead and stakeholders
·       Produce test summary reports, sign-off checklists, and release readiness documentation for each Go/No-Go milestone
·       Support post-release stabilisation (July spillover) at reduced capacity and re-engage for Release 2 with updated test materials


Required & Preferred Skills
Required:
SAP Application Testing
Hands-on testing of SAP-based systems; familiarity with SAP ISU, SAP CRM, SAP DSM, or SAP S/4HANA preferred. Must understand SAP object relationships (Business Partners, Contract Accounts, Premises).
System Integration Testing (SIT)
Ability to design and execute end-to-end SIT scenarios across integrated systems: SAP CIS, SAP FI/AP, Documentum (document management), SailPoint (identity). Experience tracing defects across system boundaries.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Experience facilitating UAT sessions with business stakeholders. Ability to translate functional requirements into step-by-step test scripts that non-technical users can execute, and triage defects arising from UAT.
Test Case Authoring & Execution
Proficiency writing structured test cases with preconditions, steps, expected results, and FD/BRD traceability. Must be comfortable maintaining 90+ test scenarios simultaneously.
Defect Management — Jira
Skilled in Jira for defect logging, triage, and workflow management. Ability to produce defect metrics reports and prioritise defects with development teams in a sprint-like cycle.
SQL & Data Validation
Ability to write intermediate SQL queries for test data preparation and post-execution data validation. Comfort working against SAP database extracts or staging tables.
Regression Testing
Experience designing and executing regression suites after defect fixes. Ability to determine regression scope based on change impact to limit cycle time without sacrificing coverage.
Test Plan & Documentation
Able to produce and maintain test plans, coverage matrices, and sign-off documentation conforming to the project''''s waterfall test phases (unit → SIT → UAT).

Preferred: -
Utility / DSM Industry Knowledge
Familiarity with Demand-Side Management (DSM) programs — energy efficiency incentives, rebate processing, field program operations. Experience in electric or gas utility preferred.
SAP Business Process Flows (BPF)
Understanding of SAP BPF milestone-driven workflows; ability to test milestone progression, approval level logic, and gate conditions (e.g. SYS-Calc gate).
ETL / Data Migration Testing
Experience validating ETL pipelines or data migration loads — record counts, field mapping accuracy, transformation rules. Relevant for Release 2 MEO Upload testing.
Documentum / ECM Testing
Experience testing Documentum or similar enterprise content management integrations. Confirm document attachment, retrieval, and permissions behaviour.
Energy Program Operations
Familiarity with residential programs such as RPP, CEV, Advanced Homes, CES, or thermostat/EV programs a strong plus for test scenario development.
