Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer with strong Java experience to support and maintain critical production applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting Java-based applications, resolving production incidents, monitoring application performance, and working closely with development and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 production support for Java-based applications.
Monitor production systems and proactively identify application or performance issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
Analyze application logs, stack traces, and system metrics to identify root causes.
Debug Java applications and support issue resolution with development teams.
Work with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, and related technologies.
Perform application deployments, configuration changes, and production releases.
Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring production issues.
Coordinate with developers, DevOps, database, infrastructure, and business teams.
Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
Participate in on-call / after-hours production support when required.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive support and operational activities.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Java/J2EE application support.
Hands-on experience with Spring/Spring Boot.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
Good experience with SQL and relational databases.
Experience with application servers and production environments.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Experience analyzing logs, JVM issues, memory/performance problems, and application failures.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and scripting.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
