We are seeking a Construction Project Manager for a contract position with our client located in Schenectady, New York. We are seeking experienced Project Managers and Project Engineers who thrive in construction-focused environments and can successfully manage complex projects from planning through execution.

Construction Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Work on construction, facilities infrastructure, renovation, and capital improvement projects
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, facilities teams, EHS, sourcing, and finance partners
• Lead project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder communications
• Construction Project Management experience is required
• Vendor and contractor management experience
• Strong cost control, forecasting, and budget management skills
• Schedule development and tracking using Smartsheet
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and action items
• Knowledge of facilities infrastructure and capital project execution
• Ability to work independently and drive projects with minimal oversight

Desired Qualifications:

• MEP, Electrical, Industrial Electrical, Structural, Architectural, or Construction Management background
• PMP certification is strongly preferred (CAPM considered)
• Experience supervising trades and working within union environments
• Experience supporting design-build projects
• Experience working within secure facilities requiring vendor coordination, badging, and site access management
