Job Title: Lead Salesforce Integration Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Salesforce Integration Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable integrations between Salesforce and external systems. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce development, strong API knowledge, and experience working with middleware platforms like Boomi. The ideal candidate will drive integration architecture decisions while collaborating across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Salesforce-based integrations using Apex (callouts, triggers, asynchronous processing) and custom objects
Build and manage inbound and outbound REST APIs, including authentication, payload structure, and error handling
Collaborate with middleware teams (e.g., Boomi) to implement scalable, decoupled integration architectures
Evaluate and define real-time vs batch processing strategies based on business and system requirements
Implement and manage data synchronization strategies, including external IDs and bidirectional data flows
Ensure integration solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable
Work independently while coordinating with Salesforce leads, product owners, and middleware engineers
Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance and reliability

Required Qualifications

8+ years of Salesforce experience with strong focus on integration development
Hands-on expertise in Apex (callouts, batch, queueable, future methods)
Strong experience with REST APIs (design, consumption, authentication methods like OAuth)
Experience working with middleware platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar
Solid understanding of integration patterns (event-driven, request-response, batch processing)
Experience with data synchronization and external ID management
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
