Summary

Requirements

11 or more years of experience in Cerner Command Language (CCL) development and script tuning.
Proficiency in Cerner Millennium architecture and Oracle database schemas for clinical systems.
Experience with SQL, Linux, and enterprise-level data extraction or migration patterns.
Experience in designing and supporting ETL processes for electronic health record migrations.
Experience with Java, C++, Python, or Perl within distributed system environments.
Experience in developing and supporting services on public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and optimization of CCL scripts within Cerner Millennium environments.
Execute complex data extraction, validation, and reconciliation from Oracle database schemas.
Manage enterprise-wide EHR data migration projects and legacy system retirement initiatives.
Develop and maintain structured data feeds, flat file extracts, and automated ETL workflows.
Resolve CCL performance bottlenecks and downstream data integration or reporting challenges.
Translate clinical workflows and operational requirements into technical specifications for analytics solutions.
Monitor batch jobs and maintain production and non-production environments according to technical standards.
