Data Center Technician

Description
This role involves approximately 75% nationwide travel and 25% work in the home market.
A specialized team of Level 2 data center technicians is being assembled to support a large-scale fiber upgrade initiative for Google. This project focuses on replacing existing coaxial cabling with fiber infrastructure. The team will be responsible for arriving first at new data center locations to establish processes, procedures, and best practices during the initial 6-8 weeks of each deployment. After setting up each site for success, the team will transition to the next location and repeat the process.
During downtime between deployments, technicians will support operations at data centers within their home region. This role requires experienced technicians who can quickly adapt and contribute from day one. Over time, additional entry-level cable technicians will be brought in to assist with ongoing project work.

Candidates must be flexible and comfortable with frequent travel, typically up to two weeks at a time before returning home. Travel arrangements are provided, and expenses are reimbursed. Strong adaptability and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
