Job Duties
- Lead feasibility assessments for vehicle exterior systems and surfaces.
- Develop engineering hard points and master section guidance.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and supplier teams to resolve feasibility challenges.
- Create and review 2D and 3D CAD solutions.
- Support vehicle rear-end system development, including liftgates, tailgates, bumpers, fascia, and lighting components.
- Evaluate manufacturing compatibility for sheet metal and molded components.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Product Engineering, Design & Release, Vehicle Integration, or Body Exterior Engineering.
- Strong CAD skills with experience creating engineering sections and packaging studies.
- Experience with CATIA, 3DX, and TeamCenter preferred.
- Knowledge of sheet metal stamping, injection molding, and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
