Position: Vue/Python Developer

Location: ST. PAUL, MN ONSITE

REQUIRED SKILLS

The primary tech stack is a Python backend with a Vue frontend, currently running on a Linux EC2. Nice-to-haves would be experience with geospatial libraries (GDAL, QGIS), database migration, and linux server management. Strong communication, the ability to work with the team through ambiguous requirements (internal to NEA as well as another business unit that we're co-developing with closely), and ability to ramp up quickly on a fairly sprawling code base with a lot of entry points will be key. We're looking into a migration from EC2 into a more serverless architecture, but this role will primarily support current tasks deployed in the EC2 infrastructure. AWS experience will be useful later in the contract.
