Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate Android Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have experience with Android development frameworks and a strong understanding of mobile application architecture and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
Work with REST APIs and integrate third-party libraries.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs to improve application performance.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Java or Kotlin.
Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
Understanding of MVVM / MVP architecture patterns.
Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
Knowledge of Git version control.
Familiarity with UI/UX guidelines for Android.
Experience with Firebase, Push Notifications, and Google APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation).
Knowledge of Room Database or SQLite.
Experience with Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Published at least one app on Google Play Store.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

Nice to Have

Experience with Jetpack Compose.
Knowledge of unit testing and UI testing.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodology.
