We are seeking a Patient Care Programs – Help Desk Specialist to provide technical assistance and customer support for the Bureau of Communicable Diseases Patient Care Programs. The ideal candidate will assist users with system issues, provide troubleshooting support, and ensure efficient data handling and communication with program participants.
Provide technical assistance and help desk support to program users.
Respond to inquiries related to patient care program systems and services.
Troubleshoot system issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
Perform clerical tasks including data entry, documentation, and record management.
Maintain accurate records of help desk requests and resolutions.
Provide professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Support program operations within the Bureau of Communicable Diseases.
Ability to speak and understand English clearly.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of customer service experience in a professional environment.
2+ years of clerical experience, including data entry and troubleshooting.
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Prior Help Desk or Technical Support experience highly desired.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment.
Onsite – Tallahassee, Florida
This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting the State of Florida’s Bureau of Communicable Diseases.
