Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior System Administrator to join our client s Engineering Team. This role focuses on supporting and managing a cutting-edge Network Access Control (NAC) product suite, including Endpoint Compliance, Mobile Control, and Intrusion Prevention.

You will work on Client/Server and Web applications, cloud integrations, and third-party systems in a dynamic engineering lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
Perform system integration and validation of hardware and software devices.
Maintain servers, workstations, and network elements.
Support design, validation, and configuration management of lab systems.
Administer user access and ensure information security compliance.
Monitor system performance for capacity planning, backup, and disaster recovery.
Manage budgeting requirements for engineering lab facilities.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills

5 7+ years of experience in datacenter/lab management for engineering teams.
Strong experience with virtualization platforms:

Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, KVM, VMware

Strong network administration and architecture experience:

Cisco, Juniper, Brocade (or similar)

Expertise in Windows and Linux server administration.
Experience with VMware vRealize and lab automation tools.
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
Working knowledge of Linux, Python, and scripting languages.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Understanding of highly available and scalable infrastructure.
Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 addressing.
