- Evaluate electrical designs against applicable industry safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct hands-on engineering tests, analyze test data, and present technical findings.
- Develop and document equipment calibration methods and testing procedures.
- Support project planning, including task definition, scope estimation, effort planning, and cost assessments.
- Prepare electrical drawings, engineering reports, design specifications, and production-release documentation.
- Participate in technical reviews and collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues encountered during manufacturing, integration, testing, and field operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in electrical and electronic design for industrial products or complex equipment.
- Semiconductor equipment product development experience is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with OrCAD, Altium Designer, AutoCAD, and/or PADS Layout.
- Strong understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal electrical circuits.
- Familiarity with applicable SEMI standards, including S2 and S8, as well as SEMI F47, UL, CE, RoHS, and related regulatory requirements.
- Experience with electrical system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engineering tasks and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing temperature-control systems for complex equipment.
- Experience with electrical safety interlocks, cable harnesses, and PCB layouts.
- Exposure to product verification, calibration, manufacturing support, and production release.
- Stable employment history demonstrating sustained contributions to engineering projects.
