Based entirely on-site at a state-of-the-art facility in Saratoga Springs, New York, the position provides an exceptional opportunity to spearhead hardware evolution within an entrepreneurial, high-energy environment. StaffRight Associates is exclusively spearheading this talent search on behalf of our client partner to find a dedicated owner for their next generation of hardware solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect next-generation power electronics from initial design concepts through formal manufacturing introduction.

  • Drive the complete hardware lifecycle for specialized power distribution and control components.

  • Champion complex board layouts and technical diagrams, ensuring elite performance and reliability.

  • Synthesize project workflows independently, demonstrating complete ownership over both small-scale iterations and major product rollouts.

  • Maximize system reliability by diagnosing and resolving intricate circuitry issues directly at the hardware level.

  • Evaluate electronic prototypes using advanced testing methods to verify structural integrity and industry alignment.

What You Bring

Non-Negotiable Core Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience engineering Switching Power Supplies, LED Drivers, or closely matched Power Electronics.

  • Elite proficiency utilizing Altium Designer to execute precise Schematic Capture and PCB Layout.

  • Demonstrated capacity to act as a deep, accountable project owner across both minor design iterations and massive structural rollouts.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and perform Debugging protocols autonomously at the component and circuit level.

Additional Experience & Education

  • A formal university background consisting of a Bachelor''''s Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical field (overall experience spanning 5 to 20 years).

  • Demonstrated background in Project Management or Product Management within a technical product environment.

  • Highly valued secondary experience in Embedded Firmware utilizing programming environments like C or Python.

  • Familiarity with high-power environments, including Three Phase Power Systems, Industrial LED Lighting hardware, or EMC Testing Methodologies.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Financial Value Proposition: Annual baseline salary range of $120,000 – $170,000, precisely calibrated to depth of experience.

  • Employment Structure: Full-Time, Direct-Hire position with standard operational business hours.

  • Geographic Assistance: Dedicated relocation support is available for the ideal out-of-area candidate.
