PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Have a positive attitude and committed to continuous improvement and success of the organization
Communicate effectively with manager & other maintenance associates on tasks performed
Interact with engineers, production, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
Program PLCs and computers to make equipment safer, faster or more efficient.
Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical panels, equipment, and systems.
Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities.
Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Research new engineering projects for payback and feasibility.
Create bills of material for projects.
Train maintenance technicians and department heads as necessary.
Use Auto Cad to create electrical and mechanical drawings.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Contributes to team effort by achieving results
