Job Summary We are seeking an experienced
Senior UX Designer to lead the design of enterprise-scale digital products. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in UX design methodologies, collaborative ideation, prototyping, and delivering production-ready design assets. This role requires working closely with product, engineering, research, and senior stakeholders to create seamless user experiences that align with Citi's standards and business goals.
Must-Have Skills - 5-10 years of professional UX Design experience.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience designing for complex, enterprise, consumer, or large-scale digital systems.
- Creative instinct with a strong visual sense and design aesthetics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Expert-level proficiency in modern design tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision.
- Experience with Design Systems creation or contribution.
- Bachelor's degree (required).
Nice-to-Have Skills - Experience in e-commerce, mobile apps, or internet-based platforms.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies.
- Experience in financial services or commercial banking.
- Master's degree (preferred).
Roles & Responsibilities - Collaborate with research teams, stakeholders, product managers, and engineering to co-create design concepts and innovative solutions.
- Translate ideas into clear wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs using Figma and the established Design System.
- Ensure design quality through user research insights, usability testing, and data-driven decision-making.
- Challenge assumptions and promote strong UX advocacy to guide teams toward root-cause problem-solving.
- Provide and receive design feedback constructively, maintaining a positive and collaborative environment.
- Deliver pixel-perfect design assets with detailed specifications for engineering implementation.
- Partner with engineering teams through regular UX checkpoints to ensure the product is built as designed.
- Stay current with modern UX trends, tools, and best practices.
- Ensure all designs meet ADA/WCAG accessibility standards.
- Manage timelines, identify risks, and escalate issues when needed to maintain on-time delivery.
- Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and fostering their growth.
- Facilitate conflict resolution among team members or stakeholders when necessary.
- Contribute to the larger UX community, helping define and evolve organizational UX standards and practices.
