Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst with 20+ years of overall experience and strong domain expertise in Financial Services, Payments, and Card Processing.

The ideal candidate must possess deep knowledge of Payments, General Ledger (GL), Credit Card, and Debit Card domains, along with expert-level SQL skills. This role requires working onsite 5 days a week in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets within Financial and Payments domains
• Work extensively with Payments systems, Credit/Debit Card transactions, and General Ledger data
• Develop, optimize, and manage advanced SQL queries for reporting and analysis
• Interpret Payment APIs and transaction flows (preferred)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into data insights
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and financial reporting processes
• Provide domain-driven insights to improve operational and payment workflows

Required Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
• Strong domain expertise in:
• Payments
• General Ledger (GL)
• Credit Card & Debit Card Processing
• Financial Services
• Expert-level SQL skills (complex joins, subqueries, performance tuning, data optimization)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
