Senior .NET Developer (HBITS-07-14777) – Albany, NY 12229 (3 days Onsite per week)

We are currently hiring for the Senior .NET Developer role (Job ID: HBITS-07-14777) with one of our clients in Albany, NY. As a prime vendor to New York State, we support their HBITS (Hourly-Based IT Services) requirements.

Position Details:

• Title: Senior .NET Developer
• Duration: 30 Months
• Location: Albany, NY 12229 (3 days onsite per week)
• Interview Mode: Single round, Virtual

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement solutions for multiple applications and projects for the Office of Mental Health using C#, .NET, MVC, PL/SQL, Crystal Reports, and various other programming tools.
• Work closely with the ITS manager, technical team members, and other project stakeholders to provide guidance throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 or higher and write code using MVC Architecture, .NET Core, JavaScript, CI/CD, Ajax, HTML, XML and APIs.
• Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
• Mentor and assist other programmers, guiding debugging, troubleshooting, securing, and deploying applications, data
• access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
• Use a source code repository, such as GitLab, for checking source code in and out, and branching off new versions of the source code.
• Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents and service requests for the application, as well as request services from other ITS groups. Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 84 Months experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop complex n-tier web applications using .NET/ .NET Core framework, as well as experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilise modern client-side technologies such as HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets
• 84 Months experience with Oracle Database: Database design and modeling, PL/SQL coding and debugging, stored procedures, packages, constraints, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc., including the use of a tool to write and test SQL code and manipulate data.
• 84 months of experience interpreting and analysing business requirements and building the logic within an application''s code to meet those requirements.
• 72 months of experience developing applications with MVC 5 or later versions.
• 72 Months experience with development of secure .NET web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), REST Services (Web API), message processing, and Enterprise Service Bus.
• 48 months of experience developing reports with Crystal Reports version 10 or above and invoking them from .NET applications.
• 36 months of experience with GitLab, including CI/CD for source code management.
• 36 months of experience coding and maintaining applications that contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
• 24 months of experience developing applications that follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.
